I am a Zambian woman in Mtendere Ward. I work to earn wages. People in Lusaka need monthly salaries to pay for electricity, water, food, housing, telecommunications and transport. Income is integral in the Republic of Zambia.
I labour at a desk in Lusaka City. Desk work is lucrative. I write for eight hours a day at this desk. Working hours have monetary value. I write at a desk for 160 hours a month to earn income.
A salary is essential to live with human dignity in Lusaka. Citizens suffer from poverty if they do not have wages. People feel poor when income is inadequate. Zambians enjoy development when salaries are substantial. Families flourish when income is consistent.
Earnings come from excellent work. I get paid for practising my profession properly. It is crucial to labour correctly. I improve by studying my profession. I draw wages by working skilfully. I earn income by committing to professionalism.
The People of Zambia work for wages. Productivity produces prosperity. Government of Zambia pays emoluments. Labour generates wealth. Employers in the private sector disburse salaries. Zambians aspire for dignified income. Workers in the Republic of Zambia require fair remuneration.
