I Do Desk Work by Anna Zgambo

I celebrated my thirty-second birthday at home on 29 November 2021. I will be thirty-two years old for eleven months in 2022. I commemorated New Year's Day in self-isolation at home within Lusaka on 1 January 2022. I intend to spend 2022 at home to circumvent Coronavirus Disease.

I worked for over eight hours at a desk in my room on Monday, 3 January 2022. I started writing at 06:20 AM. I woke up early to write poetry. The atmosphere in the morning is inspirational. I wrote poems in a paper notebook until 07:40.

I ate mangoes for breakfast. At 07:54, I published a Nyanja-English poem on my Facebook profile. This bilingual poem is from a new publication called Zambia Yizatukuka by Anna Zgambo. As of 3 January 2022, I have 920 readers on my Facebook profile. I mobilise readers by posting creative publications which I write during working hours.

At 11:09 AM, I uploaded a JPEGpoem and an essay on my Facebook page. I have 640 readers on my Facebook page. I changed the cover photo to include biographical data. I ate bambara groundnuts with wild mushrooms, green peppers, tomatoes and Chinese cabbage for lunch. I spent the rest of the day in TextEdit working on "Literacy Enriches Zambia," a short story from Zambians Love Books by Anna Zgambo.

I wrote "Literacy Enriches Zambia" at a desk in Mtendere Ward. I used QuickTime to record myself reading the short story. At 17:10, I uploaded the videobook on Instagram TV. I have 330 readers on Instagram. Readers see creative writing in the digital videobook. Listeners hear Anna Zgambo reading "Literacy Enriches Zambia."

The time is now 19:00 on 3 January 2022. I stayed home all day to avoid Coronavirus Disease. I worked at a desk from sunrise to sunset. I am happy with the products that I made today.

I circulated quality publications in the public domain. People are reading. I am working. Productivity enriches Zambia. The Zambian People will prosper in 2022.

I thank you,
